Vitiligo is an autoimmune condition and we cannot say with certainty whether it will progress or it will suppress . The treatment of vitiligo depends on the extent of involvement. It officer involvement is less than 10% then we can also consider treating it with just cream application. Also by starting the treatment once the diseases stabilized and if it does not Re pigment on its own there are surgical options to restore the pigment in the vitiligo patches
