My Regards to Doctors. My wife had her last period on last 19 Sept after which she has conceived she is on a regular folic acid consumption we had been advised for precautions to be taken for 1st three months. I am little bit apprehensive as no vitamins tabs have been prescribed by the doc. Please advise the necessary supplement to be taken for foetus to grow healthy &  what all necessary blood test to be conducted for monitoring.

Trust your doctor. He or she has guided you correctly. Only folic acid is to be taken in first three months. Other vitamins including iron supplements havent been proven safe in this period.
