Vitamin D overdose and toxicity
Can Single dose of Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) of 60,000 IU cause toxicity? Yesterday i have taken it without getting my blood levels checked. My physio suggested one dose to try if it feels better for my chronic lower back issues. Since today's morning, my throat started aching. In 2015, my Vitamin D3 levels were lower then i completed supplementation and in 2017 it was 80ng/ml. After that i have never checked for my Vitamin D3 levels. Next time i will not take any supplements without getting checked. Thank you
