My dad got hurt in his right eye from a stranger's elbow while getting down from train 2 weeks back.. his age is 62 yrs. ever since that, his vision on the right eye is not clear. he is seeing some black spots or spiders web kind of images. he consulted a near by doctor who advised him that nothing can be done and this will be through out his life time. can you please help Dr ?

That is not true.. floaters arising out of injury may be due to tiny bleeds into the jelly of the eye. If an eye surgeon has examined him thoroughly and found no Damage to the retina, these floaters will disappear with time, with or without treatment.
