Constant screen usage causes dry eyes and eye muscle imbalance.  Very rarely an already existing small refractive number starts manifesting. Its good to take frequent breaks after every 30  mins for 2 mins or so.. and also if the doctor has told you to put the drops continue that. Still no relief then get an eye check up again with dilatation.
Next Steps
Get a thorough eye check up.

Only putting drops is never the answer. It is a part of the solution. You need to take frequent breaks, blink frequently in between the breaks, ( rule of 20/20/20). Also eat healthy, complete sleep and Blue cut spectacles are a must. Ergonomics also plays an important part- screen should be at eye level, back posture should be proper. If possible use a desktop/ keep a larger font.
Health Tips
Drops are not a long term solution. It is helpful till you do all the above changes.
