My father was told by many people that he is getting thin day by day . And some one suggested to have a diabetes test. And we found out that he is diabetic.
Is diabetes the reason for this muscle loss. or we should do another checkups? If yes, which checkups ?

Diabetes is the most likely cause in his case for weight loss. Best would be first control his blood sugar. He should regain most of the lost weight once sugars are controlled. If the weight is still significantly less than what it was at baseline other causes need to be looked at. The most common cause that can coexist with diabetes is TB.
