My 7 months daughter has viral skin infection. She has sever itching problem and my regular doctor advice for just a lotion. I just wanted to know if cetirizine drops is advisable to give to the baby yo help with the itching and in how much ml should I give. She is 7.7 kg

You can give hydroxyzine for itching eg  Atarax drops 0.8ml thrice a day for 3 days. Cetirizine is usually used for older babies.
