LASIK done one week ago and post op one week I was 6/6 both eyes but right eye had mild exotropia prior to surgery which is a recurrent exotropia of which surgery was already done at the age of 6. Currently , squint appears only some times of a day with an angle of approx 15°. Doctor advised me to do convergence exercises for two months and advised against squint surgery as squint surgery is advised only in case of severe and constant exotropia. She said that whatever vision I has now ( 6/6 now ( last line blurry ) , will remain in the affected eye for ever . It should not decrease because of this squint in future, so I should concentrate on eye exercises for some time now as LASIK recovery also needs time. My questions
1. Will my vision 6/6 in future too as visual cortex of brain developes till 8 years of age and my squint onset age was 6 years and then I was operated upon right eye successfully. However, right eye is not as crystal clear as left eye and Aiims docto said it's normal
