Very short feeding session
Hello doctor, i have 5 months old baby. She is on exclusive breastfeeding, I feed her directly. Recent days (last 2 weeks) she is taking feed for very short time, 2-5 mins only each session(earlier it was 15-20 mins) and starts crying loudly. She takes total 8 feeds in a day. If she is sleepy or half asleep she takes the feed properly for 20-25 mins. I have sufficient supply.. Her pee count is 6+ but i have fear her weight gain will be impacted.. Her birth weight was 3.67kg and current weight 6.9kg.. What should i do now please advise.

Hello Mam, if there is recent change in feeding habit then she need to be examined , most of the time any oral condition can be a cause . If good amount of urine is passed that means she is getting good amount of feeds . once local factors are taken care of , there should not be any concerns of weight gain .
Health Tips
if there is fever , rash , decreased urine output -visit pediatrician .
