Can my friend's varicose veins (which is in starting stage) be cured by just raising his legs whenever he finds time or a stocking is necessary?

Dear Practo user, varicose veins is a problem of valves between deep vein and superficial veins. As you said it's a initial stage better to use stockings. Also avoid London standing. Consult with general surgeon for further follow up and management. Thanks.
