I have had vaginal infection before also. Last time i had it, it was 2 years back i guess. Due to poor hygiene i think i got vaginal infection again. The symptoms are i have itching non stop in labia minora. There is no pain in urination. No blood coming out. Just the itching is there. And whenever my bladder gets full then i can feel a sharp pressure on my urethral opening if i put a little pressure. Also i am not sexually active.
Earlier my doctor prescribed me clotrimazole. And asked me to wash my vagina with betadine twice a day diluting it with warm water. That helped me a lot earlier.
My question is should i go to a doctor for checkup? Or online consultation is enough? Because of covid i am very paranoid about visiting a gynaecologist clinic. Please can anyone tell me if i can take betadine and clotrimazole for the itching?
