Vaginal bleeding
I m 9 weeks and 5 days pregnant. I have seen spotting for the past 2 weeks. I am on duphaston 10 mg twice a day and fetogest ( vaginal insertion) in the night. Two days before i had a severe vaginal bleeding( doctor checked and baby's heart beat was fine) .Admitted in hospital. Now taking gestone 2ml injection daily. What causes vaginal bleeding during pregnancy? My doctor said your baby's cord is growing attached to the placenta. Your uterus is resisting that. Because of that only you are having bleeding. Is it true?? Will it affect my baby? Why am i bleeding even my baby's heartbeat and growth is good?

There are multiple reasons for early pregnancy bleeding like previous history of pcos or assisted reproduction. Need in detail history and scan reports to comment about that As you are already on progesterone supplements donot worry. No other medication is needed to stop bleeding Also heavy bleeding can cause early pregnancy miscarriage. Scan and seeing heart beat is the only option Yes it can affect growth as well. Serial growth scans are advised later on for monitoring
Health Tips
Take small frequent meals every 2-3hrly Drink plenty of water Avoid outside and spicy food Avoid lifting heavy weights and sexual intercourse as there is risk of miscarriage Avoid raw papaya, pineapple and any allergic foods Dry rusks and ginger in the morning can reduce nausea and vomiting
