Weather left dose of IPV 2 and 3 of 6 and 10 week can be give at 9 and 11 month or not? My pediatrician suggested it fine to give left dose of IPV at 9 and 11 month even though opv is given at 6 and 10 week.

Hi Sir /Mam. The  remaining doses of IPV can be given at 9 & 11 months even though OPV is given at 6 &  10 weeks. Now the IPV (Injectable Polio Vaccine) is being favored over OPV (Oral Polio Vaccine). The reason being OPV does not protect against all the strains of Polio viruses. OPV  protects only against Type 1 & 3. IPV protects against Type 1,2&3. I hope this clears your doubt.
