Vaccination Lump on injection site
Hi doctor. My daughter age is born on dec16 2020. My daughter got 1st dose vaccine penta for immune system in 2nd month on right leg. Then she got lump on that injection site. It's been 12 days yet that lump has not gone. We keeping ice on her leg everyday yet it's not gone. Can u please suggest what to do?

If it’s a hard lump or swelling and is not red or tender, usually it’s less likely to be an abscess. Can apply a very thin layer of local thrombophob ointment exactly at the site of lump 4-5 times a day for 4-5 days. It should resolve within 4-5 weeks.

To watch for increase in size, change in colour or pain on touch.
