My uvula might be swollen or infected it does not hurt when I swallow but I feel something is there like a bit irritated

You seem to be suffering from reflux laryngopharyngitis which is type of acidity related disorder. Reflux can cause elongation of uvula and foreign body sensation. You may need to take anti reflux medications for few weeks for long term
