UTI, no reduction in pus cell count .
Hi , My mother 42 years old is having UTI. Inspite of treatment , having medicines since months there is no improvement. There is no reduction in pus cells count in urin lab test . Could you please help what needs to be done to get it cured

Your mother need to see a urologist. Do a ultrasound of abdomen and pelvis to rule out other sources of infection. Many a times at this age in females there will be urethral (urine passage) narrowing. See a urologist.
