I suppose you are an elderly gentleman and your symptoms are probably due to Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia(BPH). If BPH is not resolved, then the cystitis will be recurrent.
Next Steps
Urologist consultation and a USG KUB for prostate size and back pressure changes. Also a uroflowmetry will be helpful. Surgical or medical management of BPH according to the findings.
Health Tips
Drink less water before bedtime to avoid multiple visits to the toilet in the night. These will also resolve once BPH is controlled.
