Dear Practo User, A urologist opinion will be good as it is a case of recurrent urinary tract infection and repeated antibiotic course at this age can cause more harm then benefit . Your mother has to take few precautions to prevent recurrent infection, ie, Drink 3-4 ltrs of water/day Prevent fecal contamination by cleaning after loo properly front to back. Local area immunity can be improved with few days use of local hormone replacement therapy which you can discuss with your Gynaecologist
