Hi.. My nephew is 21 year old. He is suffering from 104.6 degree fever and loose motion and stomach pain. Doctor prescribed him meftal 250 MG for fever. Is this drug sufficient to reduce fever.

No, Meftal is a pain killer.
A brief history of the patient's condition is required.
Add a tablet of Paracetamol 500 mg to decrease fever.
Add a tablet of Metronidazole 400 mg thrice daily for 3 days.
A tepid sponging to reduce fever is advised.
