Urticaric rash
Hello doctor, I have been suffering from urticaric rash for over 2.5 months. Allopathy medicines didn't give relief adequately and they suggested corticosteroids, so switched to ayurvedic medicine ( histantin, lagu soot sekhar tablets, aaragwadharishta, marichyaditailam, panchtikth ghruth guggulu). But the rashes dont seem to be subsiding after the initial 2 weeks of relief. Pls suggest best way to reduce these rashes at the quickest. Thanks.

Common causes of urticaria are food allergy infection or drugs. It presents with itching resulting in formation of red rashes which we  I call hives or wheals. Although in most cases cause remains unknown in spite of a thorough search. It can be symptomatically treated with antihistamins so that you do not get any new hives and the treatment should be prolonged until it resolves which usually takes 1 to 6 months. Please consult me in private for further details or visit a nearby Dermatologist
