Hello there.
What is he exactly suffering from?
Why was the catheter advised in the first place?
If he was put on Foley's catheter and he removed it, another catheter can be inserted.
Or a condom catheter can be tried.
But your history is very limited and also you need to visit the doctor again for further help.
