Acinetobacter infections are very hard to treat as it is resistant to almost all antibiotics. Improperly treated the infection can very soon become life threatening. The drug regimen of choice for Urinary tract infection caused this organism is COLISTIN + MEROPENAM + OFLOXCIN. The first 2 drugs to be given for around 2 weeks. Treatment is expensive and prolonged and requires hospitalisation. She will also require a CT scan of the abdomen. That will help us decide the duration of ofloxcin.

Hello. She is suffering from bacterial infection. Use tab Chandanadi vati 2tab twice daily after food. Tab chandraprabhavati 2tab thrice daily after food for 15 days and inform back. Medicines available at Ayurveda stores.
