Urine culture report
Hello doc, My daughter had urine infection which was detected in last month after that doc had prescribed antibiotics and had asked to do urine culture after a month...then after 2 months when we did urine culture and there is still infection, I request you to please once go through the report and let me know what is the infection and cause of the infection. It is a humble request to you to please see the report, we are so worried .

If she is asymptomatic then nothing to be done.
If symptomatic then get usg kub done. Start medication.
American urological Association guidelines say that assymptomatic bacteriuria need not be treated in non pregnant females.
E coli can come in urine , as anal canal is close to external urethral meatus in female. Moreover females have short urethral length
