You can but it's better get proper diagnosis and antibiotic sensitivity before self medications...Urinary tract infections can be painful, but you can take steps to ease your discomfort until antibiotics treat the infection.....Drink plenty of water. Water helps to dilute your urine and flush out bacteria....Avoid drinks that may irritate your bladder.... Avoid coffee, alcohol, and soft drinks containing citrus juices or caffeine until your infection has cleared. They can irritate your bladder and tend to aggravate your frequent or urgent need to urinate....if no improvements Consult nearest physician they will do the needful.

Hello There. I can understand your concern. antibiotics are not always needed. do not take antibiotics unnecessarily. drink lots of water, have lemonade one glass daily. you can take a syrup citralka 10 ml in 100ml of water thrice a day. but the most important thing is that you should have a habit of drinking upto 4 litres of water everyday. if it still doesn't subside, consult a general surgeon in person for further evaluation and management. best regards, Dr. Anil kumar jain.
