Urinary retention
I am a 57 year old woman. I have been having urinary retention for about a month, which has now coupled with lower abdomen and lower back pains. I got a CT and X-ray done and no stones were detected. The dr. even got a pap smear done and still nothing. The doctor has been unable to diagnose my problem so far. I am still in pain. I looked online and says that this problem might be aggravated by antihistamines. I have been using them for my allergies for about a year. Please let me know how I can resolve this problem.

Antihistaminics can cause urinary retention but that in males with prostatic hypertrophy not in females. Ur problem can be due to urinary tract infection. Take Tab Zifi-O twice a day for 7 days (complete the course don't stop in between), Syrup Alkasol 2 tablespoon three times a day
