Hi.today my 4.6 yr old boy started crying with abdominal pain..Doctor told dt is urinary retention and empty his urinary bladder by tube ..2mro will so ucg and given antibitotic..now he paased good urin..but why shd be the cause and ll it be serious?wht can expect from ucg report..

Put a rap on and let ur child see the water is falling and hear the voice then tell him to pass urine he will pass its mainly due to constipation

Hi.
Urinary retention could be due to urine infection cause may be reduced fluid intake/ holding urine for long hours/ constipation
