Urgent : Pulse rate dropping - 40 to 47
Having history of heart attack 2 times. Undergone CABG surgery in 2006. Pulse rate has dropped drastically in the last 48 hours. Fluctuating between 40-47. Consulted house physician and he has recommended to stop Navicard 5 mg. Kindly advice. Taking following medications now except Navicard: 1. IROVEL 300 mg - 1/2 tablet daily after breakfast. 2. STAMLO - 5 - 1 tablet daily after breakfast 3. NAVICARD - 5 mg - 1 tablet daily after breakfast 4. ASPIRIN -75 - 1 tablet daily after breakfast 5. CLAVID-75 - 1 tablet daily after breakfast 6. COQ - 1 tablet daily after breakfast 7. Omega-3 -1500 mg - 1 tablet daily after breakfast 8. Neuroday H - 1 tablet daily after breakfast 9. B.Fet tablet - 1 tablet daily after breakfast 10. NAVICARD - 5 mg - 1 tablet daily after dinner 11. Olsar-H 40 mg - 1 tablet daily after dinner 12. Ezeedoc 10 mg - 2 tablets daily after dinner 13. Rosubas 40 mg - 1 tablet daily after dinner 14. Silotime 8 mg - 1 tablet after dinner Kindly advice urgently.

After stopping nevicard, wait for 4-5 day, pulse may improved, if not improved then need holter monitoring

Firstly stop Nevicard. If pulse is still remaining low or pt is having angina symptoms or giddiness or altered sensorium then he requires urgent hospitalization and needs holter examination. Do check BP also if that also coming low then definately needs admission

Low pulse rate is significant problem can solve by stopping nebicard If no giddiness you may wait at home monitor bp and pulse If no feeling ok always better to show in hospital close by For now nebicard stop check bp frequent Take care
