Urge to take deep breath or sigh
Hi there, I am little bit worried about my breathing pattern as i urge to take deep breathe or sigh in every 1 minute as at times i feel that i am not getting the satisfied air so i do it. It has become a habit now you can say.. When I take deep breathe then I got relaxed. I dont do it while sleeping if I am feeling sleep or I am buzy in some work then I forget about it but when I pay attention to it I started realising that i need to take a deep breathe now or I will suffocate.. and I also get out of breathe when i do some physical activity like climbing stairs.. I take 10 mins atleast to relax after that.. I also got an xray done to check whether there is any issue with my lungs or something like that but it was normal.. Doctor please tell is there anything for which i need to worry about my health or its because of anxiety?

It is suggestive of psychological dyspnea. There may not be any respiratory system issues. This is because of anxiety. You will feel better with anti-anxiety medication.
Next Steps
Consult a psychiatrist for treatment. If you wish, you can consult me online.

Hi , looks like you are having anxiety symptoms which make you repeatedly take take breaths. For these symptoms I will recommend you to relax yourself or even undergo relaxation exercises or breathing exercises which you can learn from YouTube or even you can consult a psychologist for the same .However exertion on climbing something like stairs needs to be evaluated by a cardiologist
