Unexplainable weight loss
My relative is suffering from type 2 diabetes , which he was diagnosed with few years back. From the past one or two years even though he has a controlled blood sugar level , he is still losing weight more than a normal level. I am looking for proper medical counselling and the doctor we should consult. Should we go to an endocrinologist, diabetiolgist or a nutritionist? It would be greatly helpful if I can get a good guidance .

Poorly controlled diabetes is important cause of weight loss or poor weight gain. In addition there are other hormone disturbances that can lead to weight loss. Consult Endocrinologist.
