Hello
I can understand how distressing it must be to get worrying thoughts, which affects sleep.
One of the many reasons could be stress. You should try some relaxation deep breathing excercises. Also try to maintain a fixed schedule for sleep. Avoid having too many cups of tea or coffee as it hinders sleep.
Also you should try to talk to family or friends about any distressing thoughts or you could even will them down.
Limiting use of mobile phones, television and laptops should be avoided atleast an hour before sleep.
If you still feel you need help, consult a psychologist.
