Unable to listen properly
Hello Doctor, My Mother is having a problem in her ear. she is 50 yrs old and it's been sometimes she is unable to listen properly so we need to raise the voice a little bit high so that she can listen to it. Pls let us know what could be a problem.

Hello friend It can be nerve deafness , that basically develops with age . Called as age related SN LOSS. Kindly get her PTA test done . For further treatment like hearing aid
