Unable to hold pencil and toe walker
My son aged around 8... 1.is unable to hold the pencil.. Grip is weak. Needs assistance to write.. Been advised occupational therapy.. Any inputs if OT or physiotherapy will be better? 2.Also is an idiopathic toe walker... Walks with feet down when told.. Gait is not normal when feet is down and toe tend to point outwards.. Tried orthosys braces ..did not help much...

It seems that your son is possibly having some sort of mild cerebral palsy. Kindly arrange games  for him of his interest in which he has to hold objects with his hands with varying degree of force. Three wheel cycle and similar devices will be good for his lower limb exercises. Kindly get opinion of a paediatric ortho. Surgeon as well.
