Unable to get pregnant
I am married for 5 yrs now. We hv been sincerely trying to conceive for the past 1 year. But nothing turned out positive. I hv my regular periods with cycle 28 days. I dont have any other problem. Too much worried now. I spoke to an Instagram gyno and got some diet chart to be followed for increasing the pregnancy rate naturally. I hv been prescribed some vitamin tablets and some other tablet for proper ovulation. Doctor also advised to try intercourse starting from 8th day. Am i on the right path to pregnancy? If not, what should be my next step. Please advice.

You and your partner needs proper evaluation first, having regular periods is just one thing. There are many other things need to be checked too. You consult infertility specialist for this. If you have never used any contraception then 5yrs of trying is too much. Don't lose your time.

As 5 years have passed, it's better you both visit an infertility centre and get a workup done to find out any problems and their management.
