Causes of  recurrence of hernia as follows: A. Constipation B. Chronic cough C. Prostatism So, 1. avoid that foods, which causes constipation e.g. meats, high fatty diet , oily diet. 2. take high fiber diet, planty of liquids. 3. Avoid such foods which causes cough like ice cream etc. As such, no restriction for food intake from surgery point of view. Thank you.
