Umbilical hernia noted with herniation of Omentum through the defect. Herniated contents (omentum) are irreducible. Thickening of herniated omentum.
Note: Hernia does not contain small intestine.
Symptoms: Having moderate pain and little darkness(red to maroon colour) of hernia which contains omentum.
Question :
The umbilical hernia contains only omentum which is irreducible and thickening (inflamation) of Omentum is there so does it require surgery ?

defect size may increase and strangulation of omentum may occur in future and bowel may also come as content in future
