Umbilical hernia
Two months back my wife was suffered with severe pain on abdomen area we consult gastro doctor and diagnosed that irreducible umbilical hernia then immediately we hospitalized and underwent laparoscopic surgery and 15 CM mess were provided. Now she is fine but occasionally pain occurs. I wish to know that the following i) is it normal pain ii) any abdominal belt to be need. Kindly clarify the above said pls iii) Is there any exercise need or any precaution need ii) when she will recovered 100% back to normal

How severe is the pain, mild cramp pain if not disturbing night sleep or requiring pain killers can be due to functional GI disorders. No specific exercises, as Hernia is usually due to increased abdominal pressure we should try to avoid those. Most probably she will be ok 100% buy to assure completely we need to see Patient in person and ask few questions
