Ultrasound says fatty enlarged liver
Yesterday I had ultra sound.The report says gallstones, polyps and enlarged fatty liver. I fear is fatty enlarged liver due to gallstones or it has no connection whatsoever with gallstones. Also is it worth some if I have enlarged fatty liver?How to cure it?

[ ] Fatty liver can be due to alcohol intake or due to obesity ,can be due non Alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD).Generally these are reversible if care taken means need to do physical exercise , need to decrease weight. Quit alcohol if being consumed. There are some medicines which boost up liver and helps in regaining function of liver , advised when required. Feel free to ask any further quary related to this.

Most common cause of fatty liver is overweight/obesity and alcohol consumption. It is not due to gallstones.
Next Steps
Visit a general surgeon to evaluate your symptoms, examine and decide if you will need surgery for the gallstones - laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
