Ultracet usage
Hello doctor, from the past one year I have been using ultracet tablets to get rid of headache. Now I am addicted to it and I am having two tablets everyday. I am trying to stop it's usage but failed to do so. Please suggest me how to stop this tablet. Till now I did not have any side effects or reactions from it.

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  First things first, just say to yourself that you are taking medications unnecessarily.  Gradually decrease the dosage and then after few days, make it once a day then once in 2-3 days then forget about it.  Consult a MD consultant physician in person for further evaluation and management. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.

By reducing it first to half the dose and continuing to halve the dose every few days you can try to forget it. Bear any discomfort and use will-power.
Next Steps
Physician/Psychiatrist consultation.
