UFE Uterine fibroid embolization
Hi,
My mother has been diagnosed with intramural fibroid and was recommended for a uterus removal, i am searching for the best hospital in Bangalore that offers UFE process as she wants less invasive surgery and i found UFE ni invasive process.
I would like to know if embolization is good compared to hysterectomy and which hospital in Bangalore offers UFE?

For such a large size uterus the better alternative will be removal of uterus...more than 4cm fibroids don't respond well to UFE
Plus if UFE fails then anyway she will have to go for a hysterectomy
Better alternative is to get a laparoscopic hysterectomy done
