I wanted to know how painful is typnoplasty surgery and within how much time can one return for work. For how many days one has to put cotton in ears for bathing

Tympanoplasty will be done under anesthesia, hence no pain. Incision us behind ear hence no scar seen. U can go to work after 3 days. Because of bandage, usually after 7 days patients go to work. Cotton with Vaseline during headbath for 1 month . Take care

It's not painful You can get back to work on 3 rd day with bandage which will be removed on 7 th day Putting cotton smeared in Vaseline jelly during bath is a good practice.. You can make it a regular practice

It is done in general or local anaesthesia so their is no pain, u can return to work after 7 days, u put cotton for 3 months
