Tested by widal test. Titre dilution 1:20- (+) 1:40-(+) 1:80- (+) 1:160- (-) 1:320- (-) What is the result is saying? Kindly suggest

Widal test has got its own limitation, it's not useful when done within first 7 days of fever. 1:80 is not significant. This test has many false positive and false negative results. Test results should always be interpreted with clinical findings. Blood culture-  you may consider getting it done if there is possibility of enteric fever (typhoid) We need to know about duration of fever and it's associated symptoms. Accordingly may guide you regarding its management.
