Typhoid Fever
My wife has typhoid fever for 6 days now. Widal Test was done and TO 1:160 , She has been taking cipro 500 mg twice a day.
Still she feels feverish and nausea in morning and eve hours. A paracetamol subsides the fever tho. But she feels feverish inside.

Typhoid fever responds to injectable antibiotics rather than oral ones. Use injection monocef 1.5 gms twice daily IV for one week.
