Typhoid fever
My father is having fever since 7th September. The fever was going till 100. On 19th he was detected with typhoid and started antibiotics. On 21 and 22 fever went upto 103. We went to another doctor and he changed the medicines. He is now having Ceftas 400, Azee 500 and Calpol 650 for fever. S8nce yesterday night fever is in between 99 to 100. Goes away with Calpol and happens again after 6 to 9 hours. Please suggest if he should continue with the medicines at home only or should we consider hospitalization. His age is 65. Thanks in advance.
