Typhoid diagonised fever
2days ago my uncle has been diagonised as typhoid fever. Enteromycetin antibiotic has been prescribed for 4 times in 24 hrs. But the problem is after taking antibiotic for 3 days fever is still 101& 102°F .s suggest what have to do??

Typhoid can't be diagnosed from  just from widal test In pandemic ongoing still covid can't be ignored so RTPCR needed Better medicines now available for typhoid Detailed work up needed to guide you properly

Plz switch to another antibiotics, As this medicine is outdated and given 2-decade ago for typhoid fever...Plz switch to new generation antibiotics for typhoid fever Tab Zifi-O 1BD × 14-days And same time get your Covid-RTPCR done to rule out Covid .
