Hello there. I can understand your concern. Type 1 diabetes is a early onset diabetes. In this there is a need of insulin. Because it's not being produced properly. Yes, the next generation is at a risk of getting diabetes. The complications are due to not maintaining proper glycemic control. It affects all the organs in the body.
