Type 1 diabetes
Almost 10 years before my mother passed operation due to stone in pancreas. Now all symptoms directing towards type 1 diabetes. Please guide us for treatment.

The diabetes is secondary to damage to the insulin producing area of the pancreas and not type 1 diabetes. Depending on the extent of damage, she may require only insulin injections or sometimes insulin plus tablets and in few cases, only tablets to control her blood sugar.
