TSH level high. Have back and leg pain
I have had back and leg pains since last 3 years. Last year in April 2016 I checked my TSH and it was 7.43. I was taking medicine thyronorm 50mg but it got discontinued since last 3-4 months. I again checked my TSh level and it is now 59.5. Please suggest the way forward

Your TSH levels are very high and you should start with 100mcg Thyronorm. Take one tablet daily for 3 months and after 3 months again check your TSH levels. This treatment has to be continued for at least 2 to 3 years however it is a lifelong treatment but often gets controlled within 3 years. For your leg pain you can take tablet Zerodol-SPtablet daily for now.
