TSH increase
My Mother take thronorm 25mcg tab for about 6 to 7 months, yesterday she diagnosed her thyroid profil test through Dr lal path , the report is:- T3 0.99, T4 9.00 & TSH 6.14. Is she needs to increase dose ? Now she is taking thronorm 25mcg ..!

Yes she needs to increase the dose of thyroxine . The dose depends on body weight . 25 mcg is a very small dose . You make it 50 mcg and repeat TSH , T4 , T3 after 2 months

Hi., I can understand your concern. If her TSH levels are raised with symptoms like weight gain, tiredness it's is necessary to increase the dose.
