Trying to conceive, but no hope yet
Sir, I am under thyroid treatment from Dec 22, 2016 taking 50 mcg thyronorm with T3-106ng/DL, T4-7.8ng/DL ad TSH-5.01ulu/ml. My periods are irregular varying as 31,25,39 even after taking 50 mcg. Before periods would be delayed for more than 2 months. My husband is also undergoing thyroid treatment from Jan 27, 2017 taking 100 mcg eletroxin with T3-148 ng/dL, T4-8.7ng/dl and tsh-3.47ulu/ml. We have been distressed of not getting a happy news even after 2 years of marriage. Sir, when will our problems end? When can we conceive? I have heard than tsh must be in the range 1 - 2 for becoming pregnant. If so when can I attain that range from 5. What about my husband's range? When can we hear for a successful news?

Yes maintaining tsh belo 2.5 is necessary to become pregnant. But what about other tests? Is the semen analysis done? Is ovulation documented for you ? How is your uterus. Without all this evaluation, I cannot comment on a treatment plan for you. You can continue on private consult if you want to ask anymore questions
