I am a 27 Yr Male, preparing for NEET PG. Took an echo today, as i had resting tachycardia. ECG was normal.
It showed TRIVIAL TR, with TAPSE 2.2 cm and TRPG of 24 mmHg. Also the aortic pressure gradient of 8mmHg.
Other finding were normal No PAH, LVEF 67%, No RWMA, all other findings were within normal values.
Cardiologist told that the echo was normal and advised to get proper sleep and control anxiety.
But forgot to ask him if the TAPSE & TRPG values are WNL and will TRIVIAL TR progress and is echo follow up necessary?
